The European press greeted Wednesday the "historic" and "deserved" qualification of Paris SG in the final of the Champions League, underlining the superiority of Parisians and its individuals like Neymar, Di Maria and Mbappé.

"The best team with the best individuals have more than deserved their victory in Lisbon, and convincingly demonstrated that their title ambition is justified, writes the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), praising the services of Neymar," the most visible and the most creative ", and Di Maria.

For the online version of Spiegel, "Leipzig was shattered in the semifinals against the quality of PSG" and "Thomas Tuchel can rely on his stars, his anonymous and his system".

Kicker magazine regrets that a "German final" (if Bayern Munich beats Lyon, ed Wednesday) is no longer possible but concedes that "Julian Nagelsmann's team was beaten 3-0 by a superior Paris SG in all game compartments ".

In England, the press is divided between "the ride" of the PSG on the ground and the qualification of the "French Aristocrats" as the Daily Telegraph writes on the front page of its sports supplement.

"It was not really the most sentimental scenario, that upstarts funded by Qataris defeated a team built to glorify an energy drink, but PSG did not care," we can read in the pages interior.

The Guardian offers on the last page a photo of Neymar and Marquinhos celebrating the first goal under the title "Neymar leads the journey of PSG to his first final".

"This is what happens when the superstars of Paris Saint-Germain leave their egos in the locker room, follow Thomas Tuchel's plan and play like a real team. Instead of another disappointment, the French champions have gained peace of mind. ".

Despite the crisis at Barça, the Spanish press has highlighted the historic qualification of PSG.

"Paris gets its first final," Marca posted in Une's insert. "The Parisians destroy everything and climb for the first time in the final", famous Mundo Deportivo.

- A "great Angel di Maria" -

The sports daily As opted for a full-page photo of Neymar and Marquinhos celebrating the victory, and headlined: "They fly to glory", while highlighting a "great Angel di Maria".

In Italy, the Gazzetta dello Sport, although already turned towards the final of the Europa League of Inter, gives two pages to the first Parisian qualification. "Paris you are great", headlines the Milanese newspaper, welcoming the performance of Di Maria but also the return to the field of Marco Verratti.

"Nine years after the start of the Qatari project, PSG climbed for the first time in the final of the Champions League. Superstars and millions, disappointments and permanent changes: all the recent past now seems to be in the background, with the pride of Paris that is interested in the result and not in the system built over the years to obtain it ", creaks the daily newspaper with pink pages, recalling the hundreds of millions spent for the Neymar-Mbappé pair.

However, this Parisian final is "deserved" for the Gazzetta, which greets Neymar "in mode + delicious in everything, with the exception of the conclusion +".
