The Coast Guard enforces the rules of engagement with violating fishing boats

An official source in the Vital Facilities and Coastal Protection Agency stated that at 12 o'clock yesterday, a number of fishing boats violating the state’s territorial waters were monitored northwest of Sir Bu Nair Island, and coast guard boats tried to stop the fishing boats, but they did not comply with the orders.

The agency explained that 3 chase boats were moved for support and backing, as it was confirmed that 8 violating fishing boats were found.

The coast guard boats tried to stop them, but they did not comply with the orders, and therefore the rules of engagement were applied.
