“The main purpose of the event was to inform foreign military diplomats about the real situation in the Republic of Belarus at the present time, the place and role of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus in the events,” the defense ministry said.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus noted that the situation with protest actions over the past day has become the calmest over the past four days. 

During the protests in the republic on August 9-13, more than 100 law enforcement officers of Belarus were injured.

At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Yuri Karaev, claimed responsibility for the injuries sustained by random people during the protests and apologized.
