August 13, 2020 Israel and the United Arab Emirates today reached a historic peace agreement that will lead to the full normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries of the Middle East, with an agreement that saw American President Donald Trump act as mediator. This is what White House sources told Reuters, specifying that the agreement was signed during a telephone conversation held today between Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Crown Prince of the Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed .

With this agreement, Israel agreed not to annex areas of the West Bank.

"At the request of President Donald Trump, with the support of the Arab Emirates, Israel will suspend the declaration of sovereignty over the areas indicated in the US peace plan and will focus its efforts on expanding its ties with other countries in the Arab and Muslim world", says Trump noted on Twitter, adding that the three countries "are confident that further diplomatic turns with other nations are possible".

For Trump it is a diplomatic success to be ridden in an electoral key. "I will make an agreement with Iran in 30 days if I am re-elected", the American president said, speaking to the White House of the peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
