According to reports from the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, Lin Xiangyang, a cadre of the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center who retains his post and pay, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation.

  Lin Xiangyang, male, Han nationality, was born in May 1970 in Cangnan, Zhejiang. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1990 and started work in July 1994. He has a postgraduate degree.

  From July 1994 to January 2002, he served successively as a staff member, deputy chief staff member, chief staff member, and deputy director of the Economic Division of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Research Office (during the period: September 1996 to July 1999, postgraduate at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Graduated from on-the-job doctoral students majoring in industrial economics in the college);

  From January 2002 to December 2006, served as the head of the Economics Division of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Research Office (during the period: from April 2004 to April 2005, he was appointed as the Assistant to the Mayor of the Shunyi District Government of Beijing);

  From December 2006 to June 2008, he served as deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Research Office;

  From June 2008 to March 2010, he served as deputy head of the Shunyi District Government of Beijing;

  From March 2010 to February 2015, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shunyi District Committee and deputy head of the district government in Beijing;

  From February 2015 to September 2016, he served as deputy secretary of the Shunyi District Committee of Beijing, and executive deputy director of the Management Committee of Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone;

  From September 2016 to July 2017, served as deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Research Office;

  From July 2017 to August 2020, served as Deputy Secretary-General (concurrently) of Beijing Municipal Government, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Government Research Office;

  From August 2020 to present, he has served as a cadre of the Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center (Beijing Foreign Investment Service Center) who retains the post of director.
