The protesters began to run away, and people from the common balconies of nearby high-rises shouted to them where to hide and threw bottles at the security forces.

In response, pump-action guns were fired in their direction several times.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus stated that in Brest, the police opened fire to kill the attackers.
