A new confirmed case came out in 102 days from New Zealand, which is considered a model country for COVID-19 prevention.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jere Da Ardon announced that four people infected with Corona 19 were confirmed in Auckland, local time today (11th), reported by AFP and Bloomberg News.

They are all members of one family, and the source of infection is unknown.

Prime Minister Arden said, "We have been working hard to prevent this from happening, but a new corona19 confirmed (in the community), which is not a quarantine or quarantine facility in which foreign immigrants were held, occurred in 102 days."

But he stressed, "We have planned and prepared this kind of thing in advance."

Health officials have thus blocked Auckland for at least three days starting on the 12th and mandated social distancing in some other areas.

In addition, we are tracking the movement of confirmed people to prevent further infection.

In New Zealand, no cases of community transmission have been reported since May 1, and the government declared a'corona clean country' on June 8 when the last remaining Corona 19 patient recovered.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has also rated New Zealand as "a model country for quarantine that has successfully ended community dissemination."

According to World Ometer, an international statistics website, there have been 1,570 corona19 confirmed cases from New Zealand with a population of 5 million to date, of which 22 have died.
