As a result of the shooting at the White House, two people were injured

Update: the investigation into a USSS officer involved shooting is ongoing. A male subject and a USSS officer were both transported to a local hospital. At no time during this incident was the White House complex breached or were any protectees in danger.

The service specified that nothing threatened the White House complex or civilians at the time of the incident.

Earlier it became known that US President Donald Trump interrupted the press conference due to reports of shooting near the White House.
