After the devastating explosion that shook Lebanon, and the calamity of Beirut and turned it into a disaster city, Lebanese actress Nancy Ajram commented, in her first appearance on social media, on the presence of a large amount of explosive materials inside Beirut port.

Nancy wrote a tweet, on her Twitter account, about the explosion that destroyed the port of Beirut, saying: “Pay attention to a sentence of a song in which the word“ revolution ”is written, and you did not notice that you removed 2750 tons of explosive materials from the port of Beirut ??”

A party marking the Lebanese Army’s Day had sparked a wave of anger and criticism after a sentence containing the word revolution was deleted from the famous song “Ya Beirut”, and a video clip of a singing choir group, dressed in military clothes, was spreading the song.

However, the song written by the late poet Nizar Qabbani saw the word "revolution" be deleted from it, and it is the song that Majida Al-Roumi presented for the first time in 1988, in conjunction with the Lebanese Civil War, and is considered one of the most important patriotic songs about Beirut.

The musical choir presented the segment "The revolution is born from the womb of sorrows" from the original song, with the following vocal rhythm: "The revolution is no, no, no, no, no."

Soon, the hashtag “The revolution is born from the womb of sorrows” appeared on the list of the most frequently discussed topics in Lebanon.

The people who interacted with the tag asked about the goal of removing the original clip from the song, especially since Lebanon has witnessed since the end of last year mass demonstrations that toppled big names in the government, and led to the resignation of its president, Saad Hariri.

It is noteworthy that Gigi Lamara, Nancy Ajram's business manager, revealed that her husband, Fadi Al-Hashem, was injured in the explosion, after his clinic was affected by the explosion and was severely damaged.

The Beirut port was exposed to a large explosion, last Tuesday, and caused thousands of deaths and injuries, especially since the port contained explosive materials with a quantity of more than 2,750 tons, according to official reports.
