Police, mountain rescuers, dog handlers and drones are currently searching an area south of Åsele for the man who has been missing since yesterday at lunchtime. The man went out on Thursday to pick berries but did not come home in the evening.
At around 10 pm, the man was reported missing to the police and the man's car has since been found. Helicopters have also searched during the night, but due to restrictions on flight times, it has not been able to continue searching during the morning.
The police are now gathering strength to continue searching during the day.
