“Most likely, our citizens were not on this flight,” said Yuri Belov, press attaché of the Russian Consulate General in Chennai.

On August 7, an Air India plane, on board which, according to some sources, there were 191 people, rolled off the runway in India.

According to media reports, 14 people died and dozens were injured.

The Department of the Situation and Crisis Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that diplomats are investigating whether Russian citizens were on board the plane.
