Mutko added that within the framework of the preferential mortgage program at 6.5%, citizens submitted up to 400 thousand applications, "80 thousand have already been paid."

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced a reduction in the down payment on preferential mortgages to 15%.
