U.S. Department of State High-ranking Iranian Policy Director resigns, but he continues

The U.S. State Department has announced that senior government officials, who have overseen a tough Iranian policy, will resign.

However, the successor will be in charge of a high-ranking official known as a hardliner against Iran, and the Trump administration's strict policy on Iran is expected to continue.

US Secretary of State Pompey issued a statement yesterday, revealing that Special Hooke, who oversees Iran's policies, has decided to step down.

Mr Hook has led the Trump administration's policies that have continued to increase pressure on Iran in all aspects of military, economic and political terms since becoming a special representative two years ago, and in a statement Secretary Pompeio said: It made a historic achievement."

The reason for his resignation has not been disclosed, but he will be replaced by Abrams Special Representative for Venezuela in South America.

Mr. Abrams is known as a hard-liner to Iran, who was also a White House official in the Bush administration, and the Trump administration's hard-line policy on Iran is expected to continue.

The Trump administration will maintain pressure, saying it will submit a resolution to the Security Council of the United Nations next week, despite the deadline for weapons embargo against Iran in October. We expect that the tension with Iran will increase further in the future.
