“Today we can say that foreign bands this year, unfortunately, will not take part in our festival,” TASS quotes the music director of the festival, Major General Timofey Mayakin.
According to him, Russian orchestras from almost all power departments of the country will participate in the festival.
The XIII International Military Music Festival "Spasskaya Tower" will be held in Moscow on Red Square from 28 August to 6 September.
Its theme this year is “75 years - the end of the war”.
