Suspected arson attacks on schools in Malmö

At 22.15, the police were alerted to Bäckagårdsskolan in Malmö. Something flammable was thrown in through a window pane. There was smoke development, but the fire could be quickly extinguished.

When the rescue service was at the school, they were alerted to the Bellevue school. Then it had only been half an hour.

- A firebomb was thrown in through the window, a so-called Molotov cocktail. There is broken glass and pieces of cloth here, says SVT's broadcaster Mikael Nilsson.

The fire was never contained, but one door was damaged by soot.

Since March, there have been fires in at least 14 schools in Skåne, most of them in Lund.
