05 August 2020Due to a new alert triggered by the danger of collapses from the Planpincieux glacier, on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif, the mayor of Courmayeur, Stefano Miserocchi, has ordered the evacuation of about thirty homes located in the lower part of Val Ferret in addition to the ban on transit along the valley's municipal road.The order at the end of a meeting with the regional technicians, who provided the picture of the situation in light of the expected rise in temperature.
