Activists on social media have documented the first moments of the explosion, which occurred in the center of the Lebanese capital Beirut, near the port of "Silo".
The video clips showed scenes of the explosion, which caused damage to buildings and facilities, including a hospital, in a wide area of the event.
Witnesses described the explosion as huge and terrifying, and one of them said that there is no building above the other in the vicinity of the explosion, while he does not know the number of victims and those affected.
