"An inspection is being carried out on the fact of violation of the safety rules for the operation of air transport (part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal Code of Russia)," the statement says.

It was preliminarily established that on August 4, a helicopter with a pilot and a passenger on board made a hard landing on Mount Belukha in the Altai Republic. Nobody was hurt during the landing.

An investigative group went to the scene.

Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee began an investigation into the hard landing of the Mi-2 helicopter in the Rostov region, as a result of which one person died and one was injured.
