Lebanon declared a day of mourning after the explosion in Beirut

On the evening of August 4, a powerful explosion occurred in the port area of ​​the city in Beirut.

According to initial data, at least ten people died. The Ministry of Health noted that hundreds of people could have suffered.

Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud compared the explosion to nuclear strikes in 1945 on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
