The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi announced the provision of more than 7,500 remote medical consultations within three months through the application of the health care platform, which includes 160 health facilities, and more than 2700 doctors, and ensures community members access to health services anywhere without the need to visit a doctor.

She noted that the platform has seen users book more than 36,000 appointments electronically, while more than 4,400 checks have been made through the Artificial Intelligence "Symptom Check" tool, which is one of the advantages that the platform provides.

The Department indicated that it is conducting field visits under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health with national survey teams, as part of its program “Health Care for Senior Citizens and Chronic Diseases”, as they are most vulnerable to the complications of infection with the Coronavirus virus. , With the aim of preserving their health and building bridges of communication with them and introducing them to the telehealth platform, noting that it held more than 70 training sessions for medical personnel attended by about 1500 people.

The telehealth platform provides virtual services to ensure the health and safety of all members of society, especially senior citizens and people with chronic diseases, including diagnostic services, virtual medical advice, and access to prescriptions.
