The Northern Fleet spoke about the preparation of the ships' cruise along the Northern Sea Route

The press service said that now ships and vessels are in the roadstead of the main base of the Northern Fleet - Severomorsk.

"Over the weekend, they replenished stocks of water, fuel and food," - stated in the message.

The cruise will involve eight ships and auxiliary vessels, including the large anti-submarine ship Severomorsk, large landing ships Alexander Otrakovsky and Kondopoga.

“At various stages of the Arctic group's march, hydrographic vessels of the Northern Fleet, border patrol ships and icebreakers of Atomflot will interact with it,” the press service said.

Earlier, a detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet left Vladivostok on a long voyage.
