In La Rioja, the hours are counted waiting for a government crisis that is imminent to be consumed. The confrontation between the PSOE Executive chaired by Francisco Ocón , also a Minister of Governance, and the President of the Community, Concha Andreu, does not seem to lead to another solution.

Ocón has assured this morning that he has not received any call from the president informing him of the dismissal, but he has not denied that the crisis will soon be consummated. If confirmed, it would occur when the Executive of Andreu has not reached one year of life.

The lack of harmony between the leadership of the Riojan PSOE and the president of the Community has reached the limit after it was made public that the Minister of Education, Luis Cacho , a man who does not belong to the party and who entered the Government as Andreu's personal bet , has invested most of its assets, which according to the local press amounts to 77 million euros, in a Sicav that has been established in Luxembourg after learning of the intention of the Government of Pedro Sánchez to end the tax privileges of this type of financial instruments and also raise taxes on large fortunes.

The news unleashed unrest in the Socialist Executive headed, in his capacity as secretary general of the Riojan PSOE, by the also Minister of Public Governance, Francisco Ocón, who has not hesitated to openly criticize his partner in government for understanding that the Sicav enter in clear collision with the party's position regarding fiscal responsibility.

This attitude has clashed head-on with that maintained by President Andreu for whom, as stated last Friday at the end of the Conference of Presidents held in San Millán de la Cogolla , Cacho's heritage and the formula he chooses to manage and invest it it is a "personal matter".

In the ranks of the oldest La Riojan socialism, there is also the conviction that Andreu caresses the desire to choose the general secretary at the next party congress, thus displacing Francisco Ocón from office.
