Eight terrorists have been neutralized in the North Caucasus since the beginning of the year

It is noted that 31 terrorist infrastructure facilities were also discovered and destroyed, more than 2 thousand ammunition, 27 air shells, 35 grenades, 18 improvised explosive devices were defused.

In addition, the security forces seized more than 250 units of small arms and hunting weapons from illegal circulation.

During the specified period, 28 participants and accomplices of bandit groups were detained and more than 240 people who were on the wanted list.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, they detained members of a cell of the terrorist group "Islamic State" *, who were preparing the assassination of security officials.
