"Ocean Shield - 2020": naval exercises were held in the Baltic Sea

In the Kaliningrad region, at the Khmelevka training ground, military exercises of the Navy "Ocean Shield - 2020" were held. They were attended by more than 20 ships, 18 aircraft and helicopters of the Baltic Fleet naval aviation, more than 30 marines and 2,000 military personnel. The crews worked out anti-mine missions, artillery firing, as well as landing on an unequipped coast. It is known that the military training operation was led by the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov. The Ministry of Defense also reported that the naval forces that took part in the Main Naval Parade in St. Petersburg on July 26 were involved in the maneuvers.
