Olympique Lyonnais qualified without trembling or shining for the final of the Women's French Cup by beating Guingamp 1-0 on Sunday in the first official women's football match in France since confinement.

In the final on August 9 in Auxerre, the title holders and champions of France 2019 could find PSG, which must face Bordeaux in the other semi-final (8:30 p.m.). Lyonnaises and Parisiennes have already met in the semi-finals of the Champions League at the end of August in the Spanish Basque Country.

Displaying a clear physical and technical superiority, the Lyonnaises largely dominated, but the attackers were inefficient, stumbling again and again on Solene Durant, the Breton goalkeeper and captain.

It was finally after more than an hour of effort that OL opened the scoring, thanks to a cross from Wendy Renard taken over by Nikitas Parris (65).

But the Guingampaises, who had never yet reached this stage of the competition, were not impressed and took advantage of a relaxation of the Lyonnaises after their goal to try to press at the end of the match, encouraged by the thousand spectators masked persons authorized at the Roudourou stadium.
