"The Kaliningrad transport prosecutor's office is checking compliance with the legislation on flight safety upon the fact of a hard landing ... of a light-engine aircraft," the message says.
Earlier, investigators began to inspect the site of an emergency with an aircraft near Kaliningrad.
On August 2, a light private jet made a hard landing near the village of Streltsovo in the Kaliningrad region.
Three people were injured, two of them are in serious condition.
