Ida Forsgren, journalist at Dagens Nyheter, recently wrote a column in which she described the incident. As a teenager, she was participating in a night orienteering competition in the Lunsen nature reserve near Uppsala, when she suddenly discovered that she was lost.
- I think I was out for three and a half hours or so. It does not sound like long, but the feeling somehow becomes that you are alone in the world, and do not know when you will return to civilization.
