“We received a list of citizens detained by Belarus, and the Belarusian Foreign Ministry asked us to transfer the specified document to the competent authorities of Ukraine for verification for the commission of crimes by these persons in our state and participation in hostilities,” RIA Novosti quoted Kuleba as saying.

According to him, Ukrainian law enforcement officers are actively working on the list.

Earlier, the press service of the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kiev was consulting with Minsk about 33 Russians detained in Belarus.

On July 29, the state Belarusian news agency BelTA announced the arrest of 33 Russians in Belarus. On July 30 it became known that the detainees were suspected of preparing riots.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands that consular officers be allowed to the Russians detained in Belarus. The Foreign Ministry also called on Minsk to stop whipping up "unnecessary negative emotions" on the eve of the presidential elections.
