“The Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry continues to operate in the fire zone. It carries out the transfer of ground forces to the combustion centers and the delivery of water to hard-to-reach places. In total, since the beginning of the work of the board in the fire zone, 12 water discharges with a total volume of 60 tons were made by the helicopter into the combustion centers, ”the message says.

It is specified that the fight against fire is complicated by the lack of water sources and mountainous terrain.

"The area covered by the fire in the reserve is 120 hectares, all the forces of the participants in the extinguishing are thrown to localize the fire," the statement says.
