The Foreign Ministry noted that this step is due to the fact that Russia, as a sovereign state, has the right to organize parades and other events on its territory at its discretion, without coordination with other countries.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry handed over a note of protest to Russia because of the parade in the Black Sea.
On July 26, in major port cities, solemn events dedicated to the Day of the Russian Navy took place. This year, the parade was first held in the Republic of Dagestan with the participation of ships and military equipment of the Caspian Flotilla. At the holiday in Sevastopol, an action "Immortal regiment" was organized.
