Social media in Egypt witnessed a state of anger after an anchor and a sports journalist disappeared in front of his house, before appearing hours later in a police station on charges of insulting and slandering the president of Zamalek club, Mortada Mansour, and people asked about the authorities ’failure to move against Mansour, known for his insult and slander, according to their description.
Local newspapers reported that the police of the Agouza department in Giza Governorate arrested the sports journalist Ahmed Saeed yesterday evening Tuesday in front of his house, based on reports and judgments issued against him on charges of insulting and slandering Mortada Mansour.

Activists said that the arrest of Ahmed Said yesterday was aimed at taking advantage of the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday in the Egyptian prosecution and courts, to detain him during the days of the holiday, denouncing him.
