Chinanews, July 22, according to Korean media reports, South Korean police reported on the 22nd that the password of the late Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon’s mobile phone had been cracked and digital evidence collection was in progress.

  The South Korean police previously set up a special task force and invested a lot of manpower to significantly strengthen the investigation of the suspicion of the late Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon.

  Park Won Soon was born in 1956 and used to be a lawyer. He was elected mayor of Seoul in 2011 and was re-elected in 2014 and 2018. Park Won-soon belongs to the Democratic Party of Korea’s ruling party and is regarded as one of the potential candidates for the next Korean president.

  On July 8, 2020, Park Won-soon’s former female secretary complained to the police for years of sexual harassment; on July 9, Park Won-soon disappeared, and the police found his body in the early morning of the 10th. After investigation, the police stated that there was no trace of homicide.
