The Ministry of Education has prepared a draft of the study plan to be applied in the next academic year, for all levels in government schools, which includes three types of lessons, namely, classes in the classroom, and other self, and a third "remotely".

The draft clarified a variation in the number of classes in the third cycle (secondary education), as it included 40 lessons per week for students in the general and advanced tracks, distributed over "school education", "self", and "remote", and the number of classes increases to 43 if selected "Chinese" as a third language, and the advanced track has 44 lessons, distributed over "school education", "self", and "distance".

The draft pointed to raising the quorum for teachers in various government schools to 30 lessons per week instead of 24 classes last year.

With regard to private schools, the Ministry called on its departments to quickly prepare its preparedness plan according to the proposed scenarios, regarding the curricula and teachers ’shares of classes.

The draft included the academic subjects scheduled for the next academic year, namely Arabic, Islamic Education, English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Integrated Sciences, Physical and Health Education, Computer Science and Creative and Innovative Design, Health Sciences, Arts and Directed Freelance, and Business Administration Specialized skills, and Chinese language.
