US embassy in Seoul has decided to resume the visa issuance that was suspended since March of next week. It is possible to study abroad or exchange visitor visas, but the resumption of the issuance of immigration and work visas is to take a closer look at the situation in Corona19.

It said that it will resume issuing some nonimmigrant visas from the 20th.

There are three main areas for resuming work: study abroad visa required for training in U.S. schools and English programs, such as the F visa, the M visa for professional technical training such as aviation and engineers, and the J visa for visiting exchange students and researchers.

It was resumed only four months after it was suspended in March due to the spread of Corona 19, but it seems that the schedule for the American school, which begins the fall semester next month, is also taken into account.

[Academic agent: It was only open from July 21 to 31 (interview application period). We were also traveling because we couldn't make a visa reservation. 'I can get a visa now' is so breathtaking.] The

time to resume immigration visas and employment and religious visas has not yet been decided, but it seems to have run into the US Corona19 situation.

[William Coleman/A spokesman for the US Embassy in Seoul: We will resume all routine nonimmigrant and immigrant visa work once the conditions are adequate and conditions are safe.]

The visa application fee already paid is valid and can be used to apply for an appointment for an interview within one year from the date of payment, the US Embassy said.
