The National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management has announced the start of the first global clinical trials in Abu Dhabi for the third phase of a possible vaccine listed under the umbrella of the inactive WHO for Covid 19 inactive.
The experiments are conducted by Abu Dhabi-based G42 Healthcare, under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Health Department and the UAE Ministry of Health.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Head of the Abu Dhabi Health Department, will be the first volunteer to participate in the vaccine experience, and will follow suit as the second volunteer, Jamal Al Kaabi, Acting Undersecretary of the Health Department.
