The Minister of Community Development, Hessa bint Issa Bouhamid, affirmed that the new “virtual wedding” experience, due to the urgent social circumstances during the past period, opened the door to reflect on more positive trends regarding marriage and the future of young people.

She pointed out that there are positive changes in terms of personal convictions and societal behavior in relation to weddings, in order to achieve a safer and more stable future that supports the cohesion of the Emirati family, and this is achieved by the solidarity of community institutions, youth and parents, in assuming national, developmental and social responsibility, for the benefit of Young people first, and achieve the sustainable benefit of the whole society.

This came during her participation in the youth episode "Marriage after Coffed-19", which was held remotely, and the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Shamma Bint Suhail Al Mazroui, participated alongside members of the Youth Council in the Ministry, and about 200 people from the audience and followers at the state level .

"We are looking for a more positive reality towards the concept of marriage," she said, "by discussing the challenges facing young people, and intellectual changes toward the costs of marriage."

She pointed to the government support provided by the state to those who are about to marry, within the "marriage grant", to provide the utmost happiness to the people of the country, in the framework of building stable families.

Shama Bint Suhail Al Mazroui said: “The UAE is keen to help young people make the decision to marry, and to ensure the establishment of families that support the interconnected social fabric.”
