Two out of three Spaniards (62.3 percent) consider that more demanding measures than the current ones should be taken to combat the expansion of the coronavirus, while 32% agree with the situation as they currently are, according to the Special Barometer of July from the Center for Sociological Research (CIS).

Women are the most in favor of tightening the measures (64.9%) compared to men (59.5%) and, coincidentally, by age, so are younger people , such as those under 18 years (62.9%), those between 25 and 34 years (64%) and those between 34 and 44 years (65.5 years), and those over 65 years (63.3%), compared to the median age , who are not so for the work of establishing more demanding measures.

Asked if they are more concerned with the effects of this crisis on health or on the economy and employment, at that time they clearly are more concerned with health (44.7% of the 3,000 respondents) compared to the economic and labor effects (26 , 5%), although 28.4% assures that they are equally concerned.
