According to the president’s office, he said this during telephone conversations with IMF head Kristalina Georgieva.

“The head of state emphasized that continued active cooperation with the IMF under the new stand-by program is an important priority for Ukraine,” the office of the president points out.

Along with this, Zelensky added that the Ukrainian side appreciates the “comprehensive support provided by the IMF” to Ukraine.

Earlier, IMF spokesman Jerry Rice said the organization intends to complete a review of the assistance program for Ukraine and to allocate a second tranche of funds under the stand-by program in September.
