Omani TV reported today, Tuesday, that the Sultanate will begin allowing citizens to travel abroad, but they must submit a request to the authorities to do so and submit to quarantine upon their return.

The TV also said on its Twitter page that the Sultanate decided to maintain the general isolation measures in the Dhofar and Masirah governorates without specifying a date for its lifting.

The TV did not specify when citizens would be allowed to travel abroad.

Today, the Supreme Committee for Dealing with Corona in the Sultanate of Oman decided to continue the closure of Dhofar Governorate and Masirah State.

The committee added that citizens' requests to travel abroad through air ports have been approved, and to facilitate this provided they abide by the precautionary controls.
