Four goals from the first half hour: Atalanta Bergamo, future opponent of Paris SG in the quarter-final of the Champions League on August 12, was more playful than ever by winning 6-2 his derby against Brescia, Tuesday at the opening of the 33rd day of Serie A.

Brescia is not (yet) in the second division and this confrontation between Lombard neighbors is never anything friendly, but the meeting on Tuesday evening sometimes reminded of the 9-0 inflicted by Paris SG in Le Havre Sunday in friendly.

Facing the penultimate of the championship, the Atalanta of Mario Pasalic, author of a hat-trick, again had fun with a 21st victory this season and consolidated his second place when his opponent got a little more close to Serie B.

The day had started badly for the "Dea" with the package of Luis Muriel, 17 league goals, injured in the head during a domestic accident.

But faced with the chain of matches, Gian Piero Gasperini had anyway chosen to rotate his workforce. No less than seven changes from the draw obtained at Juventus (2-2) on Saturday, with in particular the tenure in attack of Ruslan Malinovskyi and Mario Pasalic and in defense of the former Niçois Adrien Tameze.

Three players involved in the opening of the match entry score signed Palasic (1-0, 2nd).

Always attractive offensively, Atalanta on the other hand very badly started their meeting defensively like Mattia Caldara, faulty on the equalization of Ernesto Torregrossa (1-1, 8th), after already two errors in the first minutes.

A blunder quickly erased by an avalanche of goals: that superb De Roon from the outside of the foot (2-1, 25th), then the powerful strike ground of Malinovskyi (3-1, 28th) and finally the head de Zapata (4-1, 30th). Gosens, one of the 7 players who took advantage of the turnover on Tuesday evening, is to be credited with two assists.

In the second period, the former Monegasque Pasalic offered himself two new goals with a strike from the right in the 55th (5-1) and another from the left in the 58th (6-1), while Brescia was all even managed to score a second goal by Spalek late in the game (6-2, 83rd).

"It's a complicated draw. Atalanta is a team that attacks, attacks, scores a lot of goals," warned Paris SG coach Thomas Tuchel. Bergamo was not asked to give reason to the Parisian coach a month before their opposition in C1.
