The nationality sector in the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai accomplished 15 thousand and 500 transactions during the first half of this year, including 12 thousand and 656 transactions for issuing and renewing private passports for citizens of the United Arab Emirates by 3 thousand and 209 transactions through the smart application for the establishment of Dubai. While the number of transactions to issue registration papers for citizens reached 552 transactions. And two thousand and 200 treatment of adding newborns in the citizenship registration book, and the number of transactions for the Customer Happiness Center at Latifa Hospital reached 92.  


Major General Ahmed Al-Muhairi, Assistant Director General of the Identity and Nationality Sector said: “The smart application allowed customers to complete all their transactions without the need to visit the headquarters of the department or its affiliated centers, especially with the current situation after the repercussions of the spread of the pandemic of Covid-19 and the precautionary measures applied by the state to limit the spread Virus, therefore, Dubai has continued to provide its services electronically in order to ensure the safety of its employees and customers. "


Al-Muhairi stressed that establishing Dubai works around the clock to develop the services provided to customers and to enhance its digital infrastructure so that it can provide excellent services that delight the customer and meet the aspirations of the rational government to enhance the efficiency of government work.
Major General Ahmed Al-Muhairi praised the efforts of citizenship sector employees in facilitating the procedures of citizens and their keenness to provide the best services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency and with a record time of completion in transactions.
