He explained that individuals were given a deadline to settle their status, and the initiative to renew their residencies and identity cards, when they ended after the first of last March, stressing that no fines will be calculated on auditors until after the deadline has expired, calling on individuals to initiate the settlement of their status before the end of the period.
He stated that residents residing abroad were granted a month to renew their residency ended after the first of last March, calculated from the date of their arrival in the country, while a period of three months was given to citizens and children of the countries of the Cooperation Council to renew their identity cards ending after the first of last March, as well as a delay of three Months for the renewal of stays ended after the first of last March, for residents who are inside the country, without imposing any fines.
Al-Kaabi said that everyone whose visa has ended in the country after the first of last March must settle his situation and leave the country within a month, starting from July 12, given that the airspace is now beginning to open, and they are welcome at any time to visit the country.
Al-Kaabi expected that tourist visa services will be available at the state level in the near future, indicating that it is expected to open the door to obtain them gradually, and enter into force in line with the degree of progress and improvement in the file to combat the Corona virus and coexist with it. On the existence of a list of safe countries that individuals can visit, Al-Kaabi advised individuals not to travel under these circumstances and this exceptional year except for necessity, pointing out that the list of countries is related to the degree of risk and the extent of the virus spread in it, which is variable and subject to updating periodically.
Regarding the nature of the procedures for returning residents residing outside the country, Al-Kaabi explained that before coming, they must meet two conditions, the first being a “Coffed-19” examination, indicating that there are accredited centers in some countries, which are available on the authority’s website, and the second condition is to submit a return request via The smart system of the body.
Al-Kaabi pointed out that with the resumption of the procedures that were in place before the application of the precautionary measures, including the renewal of identity and residency cards, the medical examination is a mandatory condition for renewing the residence of residents in the state, indicating that the examination centers have completed their preparations to receive the auditors, to fulfill this condition of renewal conditions Residence.
