The alarms must have come from boats nearby after the ringers saw smoke pillars from the islands.

And it was not only the rescue service that was activated in connection with the alarms, they were also assisted by sea rescue, pilot and police helicopters. 

After a while searching, it turned out to be two controlled fires on the islands.

The alarm not only required resources but also meant an uncertain location inland, says Andreas Blomquist.

- If something else happens at the same time, it becomes difficult. Certainly we have no fire ban right now. But if you are going to fire, especially out on the islands, then it is good if you call in and tell us before we have to make any alarms at all, he says.
