The police investigation into the accident in Sörfors that took the lives of four young people has so far shown that there were no technical faults on the car and that there were also no faults on the road itself.

The investigation indicates that the car has come off the roadway with the right pair of wheels. The driver has then braked sharply but still with half the car in the ditch. The car has then collided with a road bank to a connecting road and filled out into the forest.

Saw the car volta

Police theory is now also supported by two people who were traveling in a car behind the accident car and who saw parts of the accident.

- They can see that something is happening on the roadway, there is dust and gravel up, and then you see the car rolling over, says Alexandra Bergström.

It is also those who alert the SOS about the accident.

Open investigation that affects many - including the police

During the severe accident, four teenage boys were killed and two young girls were taken to hospital. The accident and investigation has affected many, relatives, friends and school staff.

Alexandra Bergström says that for that very reason, they tried to be as open as possible with the results of the various surveys. She also says that this kind of investigations also affects the police investigators.
