Starting on the 15th, Starbucks has decided to require customers to wear masks or face shields at over 9,000 stores in the United States.

Starbucks said, "This is a result of our continued efforts to prioritize the health and well-being of our employees and customers during the Corona 19 pandemic."

Starbucks plans to apply this measure even in areas where face shields or masks are not required.

Starbucks said that customers who refuse to wear masks at stores can order through drive-through or delivery.

Earlier, as the Corona 19 spread, Starbucks has obliged store employees to wear masks or face shields since April.

Although wearing a national mask is not mandatory in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requires that everyone wear a cloth mask if they go out in public.

Currently in the United States, about 20 states and Washington DC have been ordered to wear masks, but Arizona and Florida, which have emerged as major new outbreaks, are not required.
