A burglary hit the Vuitton store in Deauville (Calvados) on the night of Thursday to Friday, reports Le Pays d'Auge . After breaking into the place through a window at the back of the store, the burglar (s) stole several luxury items, for damage estimated at 54,000 euros.

The intrusion did not go unnoticed since the alarm system was triggered. In the video surveillance images consulted by the investigators, a man, dressed in black, runs across the square on which the store is located, running with large bags. The investigation will have to determine whether he acted alone or with the help of an accomplice.

The store has already been robbed

The last burglary of this shop dates back to 2013, specifies the local newspaper. In the middle of the day, five men, hooded, gloved and armed with handguns, had entered the store to steal various objects with a total value of between 130,000 and 140,000 euros. The robbers had been found and sentenced to terms ranging from three to eight years in prison.
