According to RIA Novosti, with reference to the regional headquarters, the number of dead patients with coronavirus has reached five in the Altai Republic.
“Another death of a patient with coronavirus has been reported. On Thursday, July 9, a 93-year-old resident of the city of Gorno-Altaisk, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, died, ”the report says.
It is specified that, against the background of coronavirus, complications arose, including pneumonia, and a number of concomitant diseases.
Earlier it was reported that the regime of self-isolation in the Perm Territory was extended for residents of the region over 65 years of age, as well as for people with chronic diseases.
Aleksey Agranovsky, professor at the Department of Virology, Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University, in an interview with the FAN, assessed the need to take precautions after removing restrictions imposed due to coronavirus.
