On the occasion of the reopening of the fashion galleries, entirely renovated thanks to the patronage of Stephen and Christine Schwarzman, the Museum of Decorative Arts presents from February 28 to July 14, 2020 a large exhibition devoted to the famous American fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar. Sixty couture and ready-to-wear creations, mainly from the museum's collections, punctuated by loans of prestigious iconic pieces are presented in correspondence with their publication in this magazine. The gaze of the great photographers and illustrators who have made the reputation of Bazaar is thus put into perspective to sum up a century and a half of fashion history.
