The Ministry of Education decided to suspend the certificates of the end of the school year (2020/2019) for more than 4,250 students in the twelfth grade, until they finish the summer course, and retake the Emirates standard test (IMSAT).

The Ministry of Education invited the directors of a number of schools in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, in a circular issued and distributed to schools yesterday, and "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of it, to inform the targeted students, and encourage them to attend the summer course related to mathematics, English, or both subjects. This is to raise the performance of the students mentioned and ensure that they reach the level required of them upon graduation from high school.
In the list of names attached to the circular, the Ministry specified the names of students and their schools, and the subject that the student must attend her summer camp, and the word “yes” in the math or English language column indicates the course that the student must attend, as well as students who have not registered before, Attend both sessions.

The Ministry stressed the necessity to share the publication (name disclosure) attached with students and strongly encourage them to register before 14 July. The virtual camps for the courses will start on July 19, adding that "the virtual classes for the courses will be broadcast over the internet, and the method of lectures, interactive distance learning, and self-directed distance learning will be followed."

The Ministry indicated that the summer camp is summer classes in mathematics and English for twelfth grade students, with the aim of improving the level in these two subjects.

The Ministry has set today (Thursday) a date to announce the results of the twelfth grade for students of government schools, and private schools applied to the Ministry's curriculum, will be indicating that it will provide students with their results through text messages on their mobile phones, and through the "Manhal" student grading system.
