On Rörstrandsgatan in Stockholm it is close between the outdoor restaurants. But smarter than usual on them. Here, the innkeepers have learned to follow new directives after all the checks by the authorities. One of the restaurants has had four unannounced inspections in a short time.

At some of the tables, staff have already received notes in place that inform guests about the new one-meter rule.

Since July 1, the municipalities have been responsible for the restaurants complying with all regulations and rules to limit the spread of infection. And from July 7, the new one-meter rule also applies, which together with other regulations will prevent congestion. Among other things, it is important that food and beverages may only be served to seated guests and that restaurants should offer the possibility of hand washing or hand-washing.

In the past, the restriction was that there should be "an arm's length distance" between the companies, but now the municipalities and restaurant owners have an exact measure to relate to.

See in the clip above how the new law is followed and received among the Stockholmers.
